Why do I need a Donor Profile?

The Donor Profile helps women and couples to find a donor that feels right to them. For some, knowing just basic information will do, while others prefer to get a sense of the person behind the sperm donations. That is why we ask you to decide whether you want a Basic or an Extended Donor Profile.

The Basic Profile has little information and is limited to physical characteristics such as your ethnicity, height, and eye colour. The Extended Profile includes much more information and requires you to fill out an Emotional Intelligence Profile and a questionnaire regarding your interests and experiences. If you choose an Extended Profile, we will also ask you to provide one or more child photos, a handwritten message to children or their parents and a voice recording. You will of course be compensated for the extra time and effort that this profile choice requires.
