How long is the egg donation process?

From the day you complete your application, it can take about 3-4 moths until the actual egg retrieval. However, this will vary from person to person. During this time, we will perform different health checks (physical and mental exams and an assessment of your family medical history) to ensure that you are fit to become an egg donor.

For the last two weeks, you will be in hormone therapy that will help your body produce more eggs prior to the egg retrieval. The actual egg retrieval procedure takes about 20-30 minutes and requires about 1-2 hours recovery. Learn more about the process of how to become an egg donor here.
