After celebrating, the next step is to let us know by registering your pregnancy here on our website. Continue reading for a simple guide to the process.
When and how should I report my pregnancy?
We recommend reporting your pregnancy after the first trimester. If your fertility clinic ordered the donor sperm, you only need to register your pregnancy with them, and then they will notify us on your behalf. If you ordered the donor sperm yourself, please report your pregnancy to both your clinic and Cryos.
Follow the instructions to report your pregnancy to Cryos:
- Step 1 – Log into your Cryos account.
- Step 2
- If you have a quota, or you already have a child with this donor: Go to the section “Quotas”
- If you do not have a quota, or you already have a child with this donor: Go to the section “Pregnancies”
- Step 3 – Click on the button “Submit pregnancy registration”
- Step 4 - Select the treatment country, donor, and year, and let us know if you already have children from other treatments using sperm from this donor. You can also add a remark before you submit the pregnancy registration.
Once registered, you can see your pregnancy in the ‘Pregnancies’ section of your account.
Why should I report my pregnancy?
It is important to register your pregnancy so we can track and limit the number of pregnancies for each donor according to the national limits.
On a more personal note, it brings us so much joy to hear when a baby is on its way. This is the best part of our jobs at Cryos, and what gets us up in the morning.

What if I do not get pregnant?
If a pregnancy is not achieved, you do not need to take any action. If you have sperm straws or embryos remaining, you can continue your treatment. However, if you have a Quota Reservation and no sperm straws or embryos left, you can request a refund for the Quota Reservation.
Request a refund by following these steps:
- Step 1 – Log into your Cryos account.
- Step 2 – Go to “Quotas”.
- Step 3 – Click on “Refund” to complete the refund.
What if I experience a miscarriage?
We are very sorry if you have experienced a miscarriage. If you have already registered your pregnancy, we kindly ask you to log into your Cryos account and update the status of your pregnancy registration, once you are ready. If you had a Quota Reservation, it will automatically be renewed for future use or refund, depending on your choice.
