Will Genetic Matching delay my fertility treatment?

After approximately six weeks, the analysis of your saliva sample is done, and you will receive the test result defined as a “match” or “no-match” with the chosen sperm donor. In other words, if you order donor sperm right before your treatment, there might not be time to conduct a Genetic Matching.

Our general recommendation is that you start your search for a donor well in advance, and if you know that you want to use one of our Genetic Matching services, you might as well get the process started as soon as you have found a donor. In case the result comes back as a “no-match” we will ask you to choose a new sperm donor to be matched.
