Is it possible to have sperm straws stored at Cryos?
Yes. In order to ensure that you will have enough straws available from a specific donor, we recommend securing the straws by reserving them online as Cryos does not hold a separate stock other than the stock available under each donor profile.
You will then be able to manage the reservation online, where you can request the delivery of the straws, extend the reservation period, or cancel some of the straws or the entire reservation.
Cryos offers a full refund if you cancel your reservation within the first 14 days after the date of the reservation. If you later decide to terminate the reservation, Cryos offers a refund of 75% of the original donor sperm price within the first three years, with a reduced refund amount up to five years after making your reservation:
- Within 14 days: 100% refund of the original price of the donor sperm
- Within 3 years: 75% refund of the original price of the donor sperm
- From 3 years to 4 years: 50% refund of the original price of the donor sperm
- From 4 years to 5 years: 25% refund of the original price of the donor sperm
- More than 5 years: No refund available
Please note that refunds are only available for sperm straws that are still stored at a Cryos location.
When a reservation is terminated, Cryos is entitled to release the remaining sperm straws for others to purchase.
