    Shipping and delivery of eggs

    Cryos delivers frozen donor eggs to our network of cooperating and reference IVF clinics. To register your clinic as part of the Cryos network, simply put your clinic’s name and address in the form during the ordering process. Our office will contact them directly to finish the process. All donor eggs must be shipped to a participating clinic.

      Nitrogen – LN2 

      Frozen donor egg straws are placed in a liquid nitrogen charged, dry shipper tank, which is placed inside a transport box. The tank will keep the donor eggs frozen for up to 12 days. To ensure the correct temperature is consistent an internal logging system monitors the tanks 24/7 during transport. 

      Frozen donor eggs must be stored in the nitrogen tank until use or be moved to another liquid nitrogen tank at your IVF clinic.

      Ordering deadlines for delivery of frozen donor eggs

      You choose the shipment date when you order online or place it with our Customer Care Team. The earliest shipping date available is two business days after you place your order.

      Donor egg delivery times 

      Cryos frozen donor eggs are delivered in the continental US via FedEx overnight priority shipping and typically arrive the next day by 10:30 AM. Weather delays can affect delivery times and Cryos is unable to guarantee shipments that are delayed due to weather events.

      Returning the nitrogen tank 

      All shipments using the liquid nitrogen, dry shipper tanks are roundtrip. In the documents that are shipped with every order, your clinic will receive a return shipping label and detailed instructions with pictures on how to prepare the tank for return delivery. Liquid nitrogen dry shipper tanks are to be returned to Cryos no later than 10 days after receipt of the shipment. Failure to return the tank within 10 days may result in additional charges for the tank rental.

      Terms of delivery 

      DAP (Delivered At Place) in accordance with Incoterms 2010. This means door-to-door but excludes all forms of local customs formalities such as customs clearance, import clearance, customs duty, tax, etc. There are no customs formalities for shipments within the USA. Read also our Terms of Agreement.
