Prices and Payment for Donor Eggs

While most egg banks require you to buy a cohort of (between 6 and 8) donor eggs, we allow you to have more flexibility in your purchasing options, allowing you to buy quantities of 1, 2 or 3 frozen donor eggs per straw.

The price of donor eggs with Cryos International

Doctors and fertility clinics recommend that you purchase a cohort of 6-8 frozen donor eggs because it is more likely to result in at least one good embryo for transfer.  Through Cryos’ egg bank, you are able to reserve and purchase the number you need.

      Calculating Cost of donor eggs

There are 2 options based on type of egg donor profiles, that can affect the cost:

Non-ID Release (formerly Anonymous) frozen egg donor

If a donor is Non-ID Release, the cost of each frozen egg is $2,450.

ID Release (formerly Non-Anonymous) frozen egg donor

If a donor is ID Release, the cost of each frozen egg is $2,750.

If you would like to know more, we have gathered all our information about the egg donors here.

Examples of the cost of donor eggs

As an example scenario, an ID Release egg donor has 18 eggs available in total for sale, at a price of $2,500 per egg.

Our donor egg database may have those 18 eggs divided in the following way:

      • One (1) straw containing one (1) egg costing $2,750 per straw
      • Seven (7) straws containing two (2) eggs costing $5,500 per straw
      • One (1) straw containing three (3) eggs costing $8,250 per straw

      Total = 18 donor eggs.

You are able to buy any combination of available straws you need, and therefor choose the quantity of frozen eggs you choose.

Using the example above, if you or your fertility clinic wants to purchase six (6) eggs, you could purchase three (3) straws with two (2) eggs per straw. Each straw would cost $5,500 and the total price would be $16,500.

      Contact us with your questions

Cryos’ Clinic Account Team is available to assist you with any questions about the cost and process of ordering donor eggs. We will work closely with your clinic to make it as straight forward as possible for you to select the perfect egg donor and purchase their eggs. Some clinics will prefer that their patients buy from Cryos directly, and pay the clinic for treatment services only, while some include the cost of eggs from Cryos into their overall price and their patients do not pay us - we are happy to work in either way.
