<h3>How donor type affects the price</h3>
Your patient's choice of <a href="/en-us/us-shop/professional/about-sperm/donor-types/">donor type</a> affects the total cost because some types of donors are more expensive than others:&nbsp;An ID Release Donor is more expensive than a Non-ID Release Donor and a donor with an Extended Profile is more expensive than a donor with a Basic Profile.
<h3>How straw type affects the price</h3>
Besides your patient's choice of donor type, their fertility treatment option also influences the price. The choice between <a href="/en-us/us-shop/client/donor-sperm/sperm-motility-and-quality/">IUI and ICI straws</a> depends on the type of fertility treatment recommended by you. The cost of IUI straws is higher than the cost of ICI straws due to the extended laboratory process to prepare the straws for IVF. For <a href="/en-us/us-shop/client/how-to/home-insemination/">home insemination</a>, we suggest patients use two MOT10 straws to wrap around their most fertile time. <h3>How motility affects the price</h3>
The motility or&nbsp;MOT of each sperm straw, also affects the total cost. The overall price of the order will increase with higher motility straws. The choice of motility depends on the treatment method you recommend for your patient. Please note that the donor sperm is delivered in 0.4 ml or 0.5 ml straws.
