Cryos Symposium Cyprus 2021 - throwback

In 2021, we decided to hold the Cryos Symposium in Nicosia, Cyprus to mark the opening our first European egg bank – also placed in Nicosia. The event took place on the 8th of October, and due to the pandemic, we introduced the possibility of also attending virtually, which was a great success. Over 200 fertility professionals from 20 different countries attended the event to learn from 13 different speakers, discussing interesting topics such as genetic testing of future parents and donors, how to prevent implications after egg donations, the donor child’s right to a choice, the motivations of sperm donors, and many more.

At the event, 13 prestigious keynote speakers shared inspiring insights and thoughts regarding topics such as the challenge of using genetic companies to find donor parents, meeting men’s unmet emotional and informational needs when dealing with male infertility, and the use of artificial intelligence and time lapse to enhance the patient journey.
