3. Which personal data does Cryos collect, for which purposes, according to which legal basis and for how long do we store it?
Cryos collects, stores and uses your personal data in the form of name, e-mail, address, phone number, postal code, country, information about your preferences regarding products and content on our website, as well as your date of birth for the purpose of sending you marketing material by e-mail or sms regarding:
- Competitions, news, articles and other inspiration material with regards to Cryos’ products or business area within the fertility treatment
- Information and follow up in relation to your log in information, and any purchases or products that you have shown interest in on Cryos’ website
- Information about products you have places in your online basket and abandoned
- A greeting on your birthday
The processing of your personal data for the above-listed purpose is based on your consent cf. the Data Protection Regulation, art. 6(1)(a) and our legitimate interest in targeting our newsletters and information to you cf. the Data Protection Regulation, art. 6(1)(f). You can at any time withdraw your consent or object towards the processing of your personal data.
If you withdraw your consent for receiving marketing material from us, you will no longer receive the requested communication. Your personal data will be deleted 2 years after the withdrawal, unless it is necessary for us to keep it in order to, for example, fulfil a customer agreement with you, answer your inquiries by email, or similar. The retention period of 2 years is determined on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to document that direct marketing has taken place in accordance with applicable law.
4. To whom do we disclose your personal data?
In certain cases, we transfer your personal data to our business partners and suppliers, e.g. IT suppliers or providers of a newsletter service, etc. These partners only process the personal data on behalf of Cryos and in accordance with Cryos' instructions and only to fulfil the above-listed purpose. Cryos does not sell your personal data to our suppliers.
To the extent your personal data is transferred to third countries, i.e., countries outside the EU/EEA, we will ensure a sufficient level of protection for such a transfer, e.g. by entering into EU standard contractual clauses.
