What are donor eggs?
Donor eggs are eggs donated by women who wish to help others fulfill their dream of a child. At Cryos, all egg donors undergo a thorough screening process, including a physical exam, ultrasound, psychological assessment, and testing for infectious and hereditary diseases. This ensures that the donor is in good health and maximizes the recipient's chances of a successful pregnancy.
Once the eggs are retrieved, our experienced embryologists carefully evaluate them. Only mature, high-quality eggs are selected for cryopreservation.

At Cryos, we do not just offer donor eggs – we offer an even more safe and cost-effective solution with ready-to-transfer embryos created from Cryos donor eggs. Your embryos will be created at our advanced laboratory in Denmark using either donor sperm or your partner’s sperm. You can then choose to have your embryos securely shipped to a clinic of your choice, or travel to Denmark for the embryo transfer at Cryos’ own clinic.

Free access to information about our egg donors
At Cryos we give you free access to all egg donor profiles. You get access to see both Basic Profiles with information about race and ethnicity, eye and hair color, height and weight, blood type, and education, or get more information in the Extended Profiles which also include a detailed Q&A, childhood photos of the donor, a handwritten message, voice recording and an Emotional Intelligence test. In each donor profile, you will also find a Summary of Records (SOR) containing test results from the egg donor screening. All our donors are either ID Release or Non-ID Release, which means you can decide whether your child will have the opportunity to get identifying information about the donor in the future.
