What is sperm donation?

Sperm donation is a process by which a man donates his sperm with the aim of helping single women or couples who cannot have children realize their dream of becoming parents. The actual donation takes place at an authorised sperm bank. Sperm banks ensure that the sperm is of high quality and the donor is healthy. People wishing to use donor sperm can go to a sperm bank to buy semen for fertility treatment.
