Will the recipients of my sperm find out who I am?
Your choice of donor profile determines whether and when Cryos can release identifying information about you. However, we cannot guarantee that your identity will remain unknown, regardless of which donor profile you choose.
If you choose to be an Early ID Release sperm donor, the parents of children born as a result of your donations can request identifying information about you from the time the child is born until they turn 18. After that, the information can only be released to the child.
If you choose to be an ID Release sperm donor, children born as a result of your donations can request identifying information about you once they turn 18.
If you choose to be a Non-ID Release sperm donor, Cryos will not release identifying information about you to donor-conceived children, their parents or other third parties.
However, DNA tests and online services may make it possible to discover your identity through other means.
