What does the law say about egg donation?

Egg donation is legal in Denmark. However, the eggs must be included as part of a treatment, as it is illegal to cryopreserve donor eggs for later use. An egg donor can donate up to six times and receive 7.200 in egg donor compensation per donation cycle. In addition, you receive between DKK 1,000 and 2,500 as a one-time bonus for creating your donor profile. The bonus amounts are paid together with your regular compensation.
