Want to know as much as possible about your donor? With a free account, you can get a lot of information about a donor, but with some donors, you can pay to learn even more. Read about the different Donor Profiles and learn how to access more information about the donor.
A free account at Cryos provides plenty of information about the donors, without having to pay anything. The amount of information available depends on the type of donor profile. At Cryos, you can choose between two types of Donor Profiles: Extended and Basic. An Extended Profile contains much more information about the donor than a Basic Profile. Here is what an Extended and Basic Donor Profile contains:
- Basic Profile: Race, ethnicity, eye colour, hair colour, height, weight, blood type, and education/profession.
- Extended Profile: Contains the same information as the Basic Profile. Additionally, it contains the following: A detailed description of the donor's personality and looks, education and career, family background, personality, hobbies and interests, Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Profile, pictures of the sperm donor as a child, handwritten message, and a voice recording.

Pictures of the sperm donor
All donors with Extended Profiles have pictures of themselves as children included. However, if you are looking for a donor with Adult Photos, you must pay a small fee for a 3-month access. Here is an example of how Adult Photos may look.
Face Matching
Cryos Face Matching is a free donor search tool that helps you find the donors who resemble a certain person (e.g., you or your partner) the most. You simply upload a photo of the person you would like your donor to look like and let the Face Matching tool determine to what level each donor’s facial structures match those of the person in your chosen photo.
Genetic Matching
By thoroughly testing and screening all donor candidates, we put a lot of resources into minimizing the risk related to the use of donor sperm. But the mother’s genes - and the genetic compatibility - of course play a part too. With our Genetic Matching services, you can find out whether you and your donor’s genes are a good match.

No, sperm donors are not informed when their sperm is used.
